Fuxi River, known as the mother river of Zigong, once bore over 80% of the external transportation task of Zigong’s well salt, making it the golden waterway for the ancient and modern transportation of Zigong’s well salt. It has given rise to the rise of the Salt Capital and achieved its glory.
‘Night Tour of Fuxi’ is a large-scale night cultural tourism project created by Zigong Cultural Tourism Investment against the backdrop of two thousand years of well salt civilization. The project integrates sightseeing and cultural experience, with ‘well salt culture’ as its theme and traditional lanterns and modern digital light and shadow as artistic expressions. It takes you on an immersive themed night tour journey from the ancient sea of a hundred million years to the prosperous Salt Capital.
The project is open all year round from 19:00 to 21:30. The departure times from Maojiababa Wharf for the night tour are 19:30 and 20:30. During holidays, boats depart on a rolling basis according to the announcement of the scenic area.
Preferential policies include: Children under 1.2 meters (inclusive) (one adult with a ticket can carry one child for free, additional children need to pay for discounted tickets, and each boat is limited to 5 free children), free children/students: above 1.2 meters (exclusive), full-time primary, middle school, and college students with a valid student ID, discounted seniors: 65 years old (inclusive) with ID, discounted disabled people: with a valid disability certificate, discounted military personnel: with relevant certificates, discounted police and firefighters: with relevant certificates. Guided tours are provided on the boat.
